Privacy Policy

Effective January 1, 2018

This policy explains, in plain language, what information Gotham Capital Partners LLC collects when you use our website or investor portal (together, the "Services"), why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. The short version

  • We collect the information we need to verify your identity, service your investments, and follow the law.
  • We don't sell your personal information — ever.
  • We only share it with trusted partners (like our fund administrator or KYC provider) who help us run the business.
  • We encrypt your data in transit and at rest, and we limit who on our team can see it.
  • You can access, correct, or delete your information from the Profile page in the portal or by emailing us.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Identity information — name, date of birth, nationality, government ID, tax ID, and accredited-investor documentation for KYC and AML checks.
  • Contact information — email, phone number, and mailing address.
  • Account and financial information — bank details, wallet addresses, deposit and withdrawal history, holdings, and distributions.
  • Communications — messages you send us, support tickets, and calls with our team.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and how you use the portal (for security, fraud prevention, and improving the product).

3. Why we use it

  • Verify your identity and accredited-investor status
  • Process deposits, investments, distributions, and redemptions
  • Send account statements, tax documents, and investor updates
  • Answer support questions and communicate about your account
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
  • Meet legal, tax, audit, and regulatory obligations
  • Improve the reliability and design of the Services

4. Who we share it with

We share information only when we need to, and only with:

  • Service providers — fund administrator, auditors, KYC/AML provider, custodian, payment processors, blockchain and email infrastructure. They're contractually required to protect your data.
  • Regulators and authorities — when required by law, subpoena, or a legitimate legal process.
  • Professional advisers — our lawyers, accountants, and insurers, as needed.
  • A successor — if the business is ever restructured, sold, or merged, information may transfer to the successor entity, subject to this policy.

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as you have an account, plus the period required by securities, tax, and anti-money-laundering rules — typically at least seven years after the end of your relationship with us. After that, we securely delete or anonymize it.

6. How we protect it

We use industry-standard safeguards, including 256-bit TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, activity logging, and SOC 2 Type II aligned operational practices. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your credentials safe and turn on multi-factor authentication when it's offered.

7. Your choices and rights

You can:

  • View and update your profile information from the Profile page in the portal
  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that's wrong
  • Request account deletion (some records must be retained for legal reasons)
  • Opt out of non-essential email — you'll still receive account, transaction, and legal notices

Depending on where you live (for example, California, the EU/UK, or Canada), you may have additional rights under laws like the CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, or PIPEDA. To exercise any of these rights, email support@gotham-capital.ltd.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary — for example, to keep you signed in — and limited analytics to understand how the portal is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. International transfers

Gotham Capital Partners LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers may be located in other countries. When we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards required by law.

10. Children

The Services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let investors know by email or through the portal. Older versions are available on request.
